Grace’s nurse, Melanie, who traveled with Grace and her family to Disney World to ensure Grace had a magical and safe wish experience, shared an insight into Grace's wish.
I'm so grateful to have been part of so many of Grace's special moments. I was there when she was learning to eat, walk, and talk. I cheered her on as she summoned the courage to go down the slide and swing at the park. I watched her graduate preschool with pride. And now, I had the joy of sharing her first plane ride, the first time she met a princess, the first time she hugged her favorite movie characters, the first roller coaster thrill, and her visit to Disney World. Being part of her journey means the world to me.
"Grace's extraordinary courage and unbreakable will to live, even in the face of relentless medical setbacks and overwhelming challenges, are nothing short of a miracle. The love and unwavering determination of her parents to make this journey happen deeply moved me—it's a testament to the immense power of hope and parental devotion. I am genuinely overwhelmed with gratitude and humbled to have been part of these unforgettable, life-affirming moments."

Give Kids The World Village treated us all like rockstars! Grace's brother and sister each had birthdays during our trip, and Give Kids The World made sure to give them special gifts so they wouldn't feel left out on their special days. It's truly one of the most magical places l've ever experienced.
At Disney, we felt like royalty-front row seats to a fantastic parade, and each character made Grace feel like she was the only kid in the park. Universal Studios was an adventure filled with thrills! We all had an incredible time. Grace said, "That ride scared my heart," with such a big smile after riding the 3D Transformer ride. She even received lots of hugs from her favorite movie characters, which made her day extra special.
