Micah wished to combine Halloween and Mickey Mouse.

We were so excited to work with very supportive and caring staff at Make-a-Wish. During each call they really took the time to listen and hear from Micah. It felt very personal and genuine. He was thrilled to be granted a wish to go to Give Kids the World and attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party and go to other Disney Parks and Universal Parks, too.

Micah's favorite ride was Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot. We enjoyed meeting all the characters that stopped at Give Kids the World. Each day the boys were given little gifts that made them feel special and loved. We also loved the Halloween party at Magic Kingdom. The boys couldn't believe all the candy we took home. Designing a star to leave at Give Kids the World was very meaningful for Michael and me, to know and remember all the memories made and for Micah to leave his mark.

It was a blessing to go do this wish together.

We know Micah's walking ability will become more and more difficult, so just having the experience to get on rides with minimal assistance and to not take for granted the little things was meaningful.

We will always cherish the full days we had together with no interruptions and to celebrate Micah's current strength and bravery as he fights.

Make-A-Wish Iowa matters because no family ever wishes to have a medical diagnosis that limits their child. It allowed us to push aside the everyday reminders that Micah's strength is becoming more and more limited.

This was a once in a lifetime trip that wouldn't have happened without Make-A-Wish Iowa. We will be forever thankful!
